We live in a marvelous age of rapid change. What is new today will be seen as obsolete in a few years. The world we now experience would be unimaginable to past generations. It is an exciting time to be alive! Yet with all the advancement in modern society, we acknowledge there are struggles. Weekly we hear of drug over doses, family break ups, political and social unrest. With all the concern and unrest, there needs to be “safe zones” to provide comfort, direction, and hope. At Park Baptist we seek to understand world events in light of Biblical truth, in the context of a caring community. We view the Bible as relevant, realistic, and redemptive. We do not shy away from difficulties experienced in the world, but seek to understand them through God’s love and grace.
Our understanding is clear, our mission is simple. To go, to find, to help. If you would like to be apart of a loving congregation, committed to the profound teachings of Christ,
Come Visit With Us!
We have a talented musical praise team that offers a blended service with both contemporary songs and traditional hymn music. We often invite outside talented musicians and vocalists to our worship. The church also has a traditional vocal choir which sings for the fall, winter, and spring church services and during the holiday months.
Here at Park Baptist Church, we believe in getting out into the community to show that we as believers care about our neighbors in a tangible way. We have a variety of outreach programs with opportunities to serve. Our goal is to spread the gospel of Christ and the salvation message to others in our own community as well as in other communities where we send our mission teams. We partner with local churches and programs to help accomplish this goal. We participate in monthly local mission outreaches, as well as a yearly mission trip abroad.
Join us every Thursday during the school year between 6:00 - 8:00 PM for Kid’s Club at the church! It's a program for children and teens to grow their hearts and minds in Jesus and His word. Your children will enjoy Praise Music Time, a Bible lesson, Arts & Crafts and Games each night. We also offer Youth Group Lessons and age appropriate activities for Middle School and Teens. Dinner for parents and children is served at 6:00 PM before every Kid’s Club and all are welcome to eat with us. Kid’s Club activities start after dinner at 6:30 PM & end at 8:00 PM. (Kid's Club has not yet resumed - contact us @ 412-751-7472 if you are interested.)

JULY - AUGUST
REGULAR SUNDAY CHURCH SERVICE: 10:30 am
EARLY OUTSIDE SERVICE: 8:30 AM at the Pavilion.
PAVILION FUND: We are planning to expand our pavilion and purchase new picnic tables. If you are able to donate towards this project, we would appreciate it!
LUKE 12:22-26: Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?
2020 CENSUS: We are asking all parishioners to encourage your friends, family and neighbors to respond now and count everyone who is living or staying at that address - grandparents, babies, and others who may be living with you most of the time. All responses are protected by law and personal identifying information is never shared. Get started now! Simply go online at 2020census.gov or call 1-844-330-2020 to complete yours and shape your future. Your community is counting on YOU!
2020 CENSUS: Important enough to say it twice! Encouraging others to actively participate in the Census count is a once in a decade opportunity to ensure that we get it right! As people of faith, we believe in the divinely given dignity of every person. When we answer the Census and encourage others to do so too, we declare that we are part of "we the people." in my name, there am I among them.”
POSTPONED due to the coronavirus. Stay tuned for updates. Normally, our adult Bible Study meets Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM from September to June. Some churches have abandoned the study of God's Word, or have replaced it with secular self-help classes. But, our devoted Bible Study attendees have held fast to the study of God's revealed Word, the Holy Bible, seeking to apply God's commands to their daily lives. The class will be led by Dr. Ernest Gagorik. He can be reached at 412-673-0860. All are welcome to attend at any time throughout the series. Our coffee is hot and we are all friendly. Come as you are!
